Small percentage whole-bunch fermentation. Matured for 10 months in 300-litre French oak barrels, 30% new before a further 10 months in 3 000-litre foudre. Black berries and herbs plus subtle undertones of earth and tar.The palate is rich and luscious – good depth of fruit, bright acidity and tannins that are firm in the best sense.
